This technology involves the application of light energy of specific wavelengths and power levels on injured and/or abnormal tissues. The light energy is absorbed by various molecules within the cells of these tissues and converted to biochemical energy which initiates a number of positive physiological responses. The result is the stimulation of tissue healing and regeneration and restoration of normal function.
Laser therapy is non-invasive, non-toxic and with no known side effects. Unlike other forms of radiation, laser therapy is beneficial rather than harmful to tissue with hundreds of research studies demonstrating its safety and effectiveness.
